SYNONYM FOR “OFFERING ONESELF TO LIFE”

This figure is already a bit older, but so far I haven't had an idea for a suitable title and for what this character actually expresses.

Then came Paul, a very likeable person who I haven't known for very long, but who already knows a lot about me. Paul drew my attention to the song THE BEST IST JET TO COME by Staubkind. I find the lyrics and expression of the song very beautiful, especially in difficult times, and I had the feeling that this is exactly what suits this character. The song reflects a wait-and-see, comforting optimism and also conveys a calmness about one's own situation, a secure belief in oneself and the feeling of being at peace with oneself.

As beautiful as this state is, it can be difficult to achieve, especially when things aren't going so well in life and everything, absolutely everything, doesn't work out despite your best efforts. Nevertheless, it is important to offer yourself to life again and again, by whatever means, to keep getting up, to be active and thus give life and chance the chance to be good to you for once. Easier said than done, but inevitable. Blessed are those who have people around them who encourage them.
